About
The OSCE Programme Office will support a roundtable discussion on the legal aspects of implementing the Espoo Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment and its Protocol on Strategic Environmental Assessment in relation to legislation in Kazakhstan.
International and national experts will share experiences of countries from Eastern Europe and Caucasus on the adoption of legislation in line with international legal standards and also discuss Kazakhstan’s existing practice on environmental assessments.
The event is part of the Office’s long-term efforts to promote green growth and sustainable development principles to strengthen environmental security in the region.
