Domestic violence is often a persistent problem in difficult family relationships. Women are particularly vulnerable and do not always have the courage to speak up against physical, sexual and psychological abuse. For this reason, the role of the law enforcement, social services and NGOs is of crucial importance in identifying and preventing situations of domestic violence.
