Underwater security training for divers of Coast Guard Service of Border Service of National Security Committee of Kazakhstan
The OSCE Programme Office in Astana held the training for divers in the vicinity of Quryq seaport, Mangystau province, 12-30 September 2022 to counter transnational threats, including terrorism. The OSCE transferred them the new equipment and familiarised the divers with the regulations, international and national diving standards, and particularities of underwater activities in a range of environments. The theoretical and practical training also covered personal safety while diving at different depths and using the newly acquired equipment.
