About
The OSCE Programme Office in Nur-Sultan will support an online seminar on the application of the Protocol on Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers (PRTR) for some 100 private sector and NGONGO
non-governmental organization representatives of Karaganda region.
Participants will learn about the requirements of the PRTR Protocol under the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe’s (UNECE) Aarhus Convention and national environmental legislation. The activity aims to increase the capacity of industrial enterprises on providing up-to-date information on the release of pollutants and aligning emissions reporting with OSCE participating States best standards.
